Walk with us in the springtime high mountain pastures of Kyrgyzstan, where native Central Asian spotted horses live. This is the homeland of the Chaar.
These pastures are preserved year after year despite horse and human use because the horses and their people move with the seasons of the land, shifting from high to low altitudes and back again. In the Celestial Mountains, the horses help promote biodiversity, thrive on nomadic practices, and represent a harmonious lifestyle between human and nature.
These slopes in the springtime are lush with forget-me-not flowers. We certainly made lasting memories in the cradle of the mountains among its semi-wild horse herds.
And we plan to return! Maybe you will join us on our next Kyrgyz venture?
