The Chaar Appaloosa Horse was highlighted in a wonderful article by Cheval Magazine!

The feature discusses the 12 year journey so far of their rediscovery and road to recovery through the International association Chaar Appaloosa ‘s strategic revitalization program. These sacred horses, captured in Kyrgyz petroglyphs and folklore, were almost lost to time and outcrossing practices. Now a growing herd of over 60 horses is reconcentrating their distinct genetics and returning them to their historic roles in nomadic life and the landscape’s biodiverse system.
