Gudrat is a versatile stallion with an excellent temperament, good bone, and great natural athleticism. He is easy-going, highly trainable, and enjoys being challenged, from getting the daily mail on horseback to competing in a hunter pace or jump-off weekend. Gudrat has earned several ribbons in his early career, including 1st place and 2 2nds in jumping at the 2024 EST SANA Rare Steeds Show. We are excited to see what the 2026 season brings as he trains to become an eventing horse.
Gudrat was bred and born at Noble Tribe Akhal-Tekes with a pedigree of great athletes. He is one of only two sons by Marat and out of Gazelle from Kopeli, half-brother through Kambar of talented jumping stallion Kogan who consistently placed in ribbons in the HITS circuit level 6. Gudrat is linebred in gen-3 on Amelit 12, an outstanding and elegant stallion handpicked by Shamborant. Amelit 12 was son of the exceptional Stavropol stallion Adat, son of Yulduz, and mare Lada, granddaughter of Absent through Ararat 1. Lada’s mother, Lolla, was out of foundation mare Kepderi (Lachin) who produced a number of derby winners and successful endurance horses. Gudrat is grandson of the elegant 3-day eventer Arbalet and the lovely Gora, granddaughter of Dornazarbek. He is also great grandson of globally famous athletic producer Melesur. Within 4 generations back, Gudrat harkens to famous racers Ametist, Sere, and Dagestan (another son of Yulduz) who had stunning type, a greatly successful racing career, and produced a number of highly workable and successful progeny.
