What a whirlwind!! In two days, we’ve seen about 100 Akhal-Tekes competed at the 2026 Peelbergen Akhal-Teke Championship in The Netherlands to be absolute champion. The best of the best was awarded to a newly French stallion, Yandym (Saivan x Iahta) bred by A. Klimuk and now owned by A. Martinez of Caratkoum Akhal-Teke.
The first-time presence of the Turkmen Atlary and their horses for a championship in Europe made this an incredible experience. It was such a joy to regather with friends from around the world and make new connections, for a more united Akhal-Teke global community.
Special thanks to the Akhal-Teke Horse Association (of Europe) for making it possible.
