Algush, affectionately called Auggie, is a chestnut (nd1 gene) purebred Akhal-Teke. This expressive, playful, and flashy colt has a depth of spirit and powerful, floating movement. He has a gorgeous head, nice height, and stunning chrome coat. Sensitive yet bold, he’s a joy to work with and responds well to lightness. Auggie is an exceptionally quick leaner and a real treasure at the farm.

Algush is by Akhal-Teke stallion Kevlin (Arin x Kamiah) from the Gelishikli Line and out of MV Fergazel (Gindarkh 13 x Fergan), who is a great granddaughter of Olympic Gold Medalist dressage stallion Absent through his best daughter Takappara 2, and daughter of Gindarkh 13 who held the highest grading level of Elite, given by the International Association of Horse Breeding in Ryazan, Russia. Algush’s maternal grandsire Gaukhar 4 was a very successful racehorse and his paternal great grandsire Melechan sired the 1999/2002 Number One Ranked Elite purebred stallion in North America. He is sure to contribute a strong yet balanced build, athletic versatility, and a good working mind to any breeding program.
