The end of last month, three more outstanding Akhal-Tekes have safely made their overseas journey and joined our herd! ![]()
They add to our strong program foundation and bring further diversity to the breed in North America.
This expands on a momentous milestone in our story, as my mother and I manifest lifelong dreams together doing something we never thought possible.
These horses have been beautifully bred and lovingly raised, arriving with such soft and sensitive spirits. They are so open to their new world and it is truly a gift to begin learning each of their unique personalities. And each is a fantastic new ambassador for the breed.
From Saint Petersburg, we welcome a young stud colt, Arpad (Persey-Geli x Angelina, Sovkhoz II Line). He is so easy going and sociable that even the USDA handlers complimented him. Bred by Amina Liubitskaya.
From Moscow, we welcome a gorgeous filly, Bakhor-Mele (Daniyar x Bahti-Bishi, Sovkhoz II Line). She has a delightfully bold and affectionate nature, already so fun to play with. Bred by Anna Fadeeva.
And from Kazakhstan, we welcome another stunning young mare, Gulbabek-Dacor (Karabek x Galam, Kaplan Line). This mare has such a beautiful soft spirit and walks as if she graces the earth. Bred by Dacor Akhal-Teke Stud Farm.
Again, we could not have done this without the exceptional international logistics help from Nadja Tarasova and our go-to domestic shipper, James Boudrieau of Broken Spoke Ranch Transport. ![]()
